Is it possible to use a one hard disk for both EasyNAS OS and file shares? When I try to create a file system I get the error message, “No Free Disks Available.” System requirements page says one hard drive required.

        Hi

Currently EasyNAS need a dedicated he for the OS
You can use one HDD for storage if you’ll boot the system from a USB dongle

          Okay, thank you.

I suggest that you include this info in the requirements section, i.e.: “one HDD, only when using USB as boot drive.”

Is it possible or advisable to use a SD card for this purpose?
