As per EasyNAS documentation, the minimum HDD requirements is 4 GB.
Provided 32 GB for boot drive.
Tested with latest Virtualbox and Vmware workstation pro both in thick and thin provisioning.
The installer complains “Not enough space on the drive”.
      Looks buggy installer.

I was trying to replicate the problem, without any success,
EasyNAS require 20G to install itself, too little space it will give you the error that you got.
if it’s more than 20G you can choose it in the installation menu.
I have tried both 20G and 100G and the install went ok with both.
what is your hardware specification beside the HD ?

thanks for the info, I didn’t encounter this running on virtualbox but I trust your word.
it can be if no HD was discovered during the boot,
It might be missing drivers, working on something to fix it.
